Debitum Network platform update: August and September

August and September can be considered as the months of change for Debitum platform. During this period of time, Debitum has reached excellent results in nearly every important aspect of its operations. Firstly, Debitum has started new marketing and public relations campaign aimed at new investors. The main goal of the campaign is to educate investors about risks in the alternative investment markets. Secondly, Debitum has greatly increased its portfolio size and reached the new record in this matter. This momentum is expected to be maintained in the upcoming months. Moreover, Debitum has changed minimum deposit and investment size on the platform. Currently, the minimum first deposit on the platform is 500 Euro and minimum investment is 50 Euro.  Lastly, Debitum has successfully attracted two new loan originators and additional funding from both retail and institutional investors. As a result, these changes and developments are expected to bring benefits to all our community in October and later months.

The number of registered users (activated)

In both August and July, Debitum has experienced an increase in its investors base, higher than in previous months. 156 new users have joined the platform on August, which is a 28% increase compared to July’s figures. Similarly, 138 new investors joined the platform on September. The total number of investors on the platform has increased by an impressive 5.5% over two months. The increase of new registrations is related to the new marketing campaign and higher supply of short term loans on the platform. Moreover, the referral program has been showing great results during the last two months with more people recommending Debitum to their friends.

Money deposited

Together with the increase of new investors on the platform, Debitum has experienced strong upwards trend in the deposit activity. During August, investors deposited 151,142 Euro on the platform. However, September was an outstanding month for the platform – 408,747 Euro was deposited on the platform. As a result, the total deposited amount on the platform has reached a staggering 4,311,030 Euro. This is a 15.5% increase, relative to the amount in the middle of the summer. Even though these figures are very optimistic, Debitum still needs to find a way to optimize the average deposit size because it varies from 455 Euro on August up to 891 Euro on September. To summarize, as new investors are joining the platform, Debitum will increase the effort to educate existing and new investors about the safety and quality of Debitum assets.

Loans originated

Assets worth 1,136,824 Euro and 1,145,135 Euro were facilitated on the platform during August and September, respectively. That gives a total of 25,414,407 Euro worth of assets provided on the platform during all time. Compared to July figures (1,810,250 Euro facilitated during the month), after a multi-fold increase of assets provided, Debitum maintains the same high level of assets supplied on the platform. Average loan size in August and September – 4,939 Euro. That is almost a 50% lower amount than in June because much more invoice financing have been provided on the platform. Debitum loan originators are recovering from the pandemic and the demand for refinancing through the platform is increasing. In September and October, two more loan originators will join the platform and they will provide even more investment opportunities.

Money invested

In August and September, 1,014,910 Euro and 1,028,236 Euro was invested on the Debitum platform, respectively. This is more than 14% increase compared to the figures in the middle of the summer. Moreover, our investors continue to increase their portfolio size and investment amount. Also, it must be noted that the increase in the investment volume is closely related to the provision of invoice financing loans on the platform. As a result, investors have an opportunity to reinvest their funds for two or more times during a month. Additionally, institutional investors of the platform have increased their investment volume during the last two months. However, the growth of the platform would be impossible without our retail investors who contribute the most to the invested volume on the platform.

Most popular industries

In September, Debitum investors invested in assets from 12 industries. Most of the investments went to the construction, ITT, and agriculture sectors. Most of the assets in the construction sector were invoice financing loans that have high turnover. Contrastingly, most of the assets in the ITT and agricultural sectors were business loans with longer terms. Despite that, Debitum investors trust the loan originators which provide these loans and increase their investment in these companies.

Money invested using the auto-invest tool

In August and September, we had a stable increase in the amount which was invested using the auto-invest tool. The increase is the result of current investors trusting the platform’s due diligence process and switching from manual investment to automatic. Additionally, improved supply invoice financing loans pushes investors to use the tool to enjoy the benefits of high turnover of these loans. This month the amount invested with the auto-invest tool reached 4,715,051 Euro. The tool is becoming popular among our investors despite the size of their portfolio. As more assets will be uploaded on the platform, we expect to see a positive trend in October. Therefore, do not miss another good opportunity and create an auto-invest plan today. Then, enjoy compiling interest, which the tool will reinvest for you when the principal and interest are repaid.
