Debitum Network platform update: June statistics

June has brought significant challenges for Debitum Network that were caused by continuing negative effects on the market during the pandemic. Due to uncertainty in the market and governments’ incentives for SMEs, Debitum Network investors were cautious investing in assets offered on the platform and the platform has experienced the lowest investment volume during the last 12 months. From the other side, we are happy to see that our monitoring efforts are fruitful and there were no issues with our current loan originators. Therefore, Debitum Network is ready to move on and continue to offer the best investment opportunities in the market.

The number of registered users (activated)

In June, 104 new users have joined the platform and activated their account. This is a slight decrease compared to May’s statistics and that is a 2% increase in the total number of active users. During June, Debitum Network focused on developing good relations with current investors, monitoring current loan originators, and searching for new loan originators. As of now, Debitum Network is developing a constructive strategy for user acquisition and it is a good moment to join the platform.

Money deposited

130,384 Euro was deposited during June, which increased the total deposited amount to 3,519,703 Euro. That is equal to 3.8% growth in the total deposited amount and a 21.9% decrease relative to May’s deposited amount. The decrease was mainly caused by the pandemic as many investors decided to reduce their exposure and monitor the situation in the market. Despite the decrease, we are happy to see that our users care about their financial future even in these turbulent times and slowly start to increase their exposure on our platform as we are building more trust among our investors.

Loans originated

Assets worth 514,631 Euro were facilitated on the platform during June and that gives a total of 21,322,198 Euro worth of assets provided on the platform during all time. Compared to May figures (649,265 Euro facilitated during the month), there was a drop caused mainly by the pandemic as loan originators have been careful issuing new loans and governments were incentivizing our partners by providing funds for an extremely low cost. We expect that upcoming new partnerships will bring more opportunities to invest and diversify your portfolio among new loan originators, and the number of loans originated will increase significantly.

Money invested

In June, 623,069 Euro was invested in the Debitum Network platform. That is a significant decrease relative to May’s volume. As Debitum Network is building trust, our investors are increasing their portfolio size, and more institutional investors join our platform in the coming months, we expect that the number of funds invested will increase at a much higher pace before the end of this year.

Most popular industries

Investors could invest in the assets from 14 industries in June. We have almost reached the goal that we set in May – 16 industries available on the platform. We expect to continue increasing the number to more than 16 by onboarding new loan originators.

Due to the pandemic, Debitum Network investors shifted away from the logistics sector. As a result, around 38% of investments were made in the ITT and services sectors. Most of such investment opportunities were provided by Triple Dragon Limited. Interestingly, more investors shifted to wholesale and construction sectors as they were relocating their portfolios away from the logistics and production sectors. As the lockdown is easing, stress on some industries will go down and repayments become more frequent. Therefore, we expect that industries like logistics and production will get back their share in our investors’ portfolios. All in all, you should check your balance regularly or create and activate an auto-invest plan, so that your outstanding balance would be always invested and generate interest.

Money invested using the auto-invest tool

In June, we had a big increase in the amount which was invested using the auto-invest tool. The increase is the result of current investors trusting the platform’s due diligence process and switching from manual investment to automatic. This month the amount invested with the auto-invest tool reached 3,643,985 Euro (an increase of 14.10%). The tool is becoming popular among our investors despite the size of their portfolio. As more assets will be uploaded on the platform, we expect to see a positive trend in July. Therefore, do not miss another good opportunity and create an auto-invest plan today. Then, enjoy compiling interest, which the tool will reinvest for you when the principal and interest are repaid.
