Debitum Network platform update: October statistics
Despite challenges in the market during the pandemic, October was a good month for Debitum platform. During the month three loan originators have joined the platform – Evergreen Capital from Estonia, CubeFunder from the United Kingdom, and a known Debitum partner Chain Finance from Estonia. The volume of assets provided on the platform was the highest since February, just before the pandemic. Therefore, the supply of new assets on the platform was well-received by Debitum investors. From the other side, Debitum has experienced an increased demand for new investments and funds deposited on the platform. We are happy to see that more and more investors are choosing Debitum as the main part of their portfolio. All in all, Debitum team expects to continue building growth on the momentum
The number of registered users (activated)
The growth of the user base is one of the key challenges that Debitum is trying to solve. Similar to the results of previous months, 142 investors have joined the platform during October. That is 5 users less than in September. Overall, that is a 2.55% growth of the total user base. The number of people who invited their friends is 53, compared to 59 in September. Unfortunately, the new marketing campaign has not brought any tangible results and Debitum is searching for new ways to inform people about the platform.
October was a great month for the platform in terms of deposits. In October alone, our investors deposited 527,070 EUR, the highest amount since last February. That is an impressive 15.69% growth compared to September figures. Overall, the total amount deposited on the platform increased by 17.18%. The average deposit reached 1,358 EUR in October while in September it was only 891 EUR. This is a result of more high net-worth individuals joining the platform in October than in September. Moreover, Debitum team is actively communicating with the biggest investors and managed to attract more funds from them. All in all, Debitum compensates for the lack of new users by achieving good results in the account management of existing investors.
Assets worth 1,984,840 EUR were facilitated on the platform during October. That gives a total of 27,399,247 EUR worth of assets provided on the platform during all time. Compared to September figures (1,145,135 EUR facilitated during the month), Debitum has provided the highest volume of loans since last February. As a result, there were no complaints from our investors about a lack of assets on the platform. Average loan size in October – 5,142 Euro. That is almost a 4% increase over September figures. Debitum is actively trying to diversify its portfolio and includes loans from all loan originators on the platform. As a result, almost half of the portfolio in October consisted of business loans from various loan originators. Also, new loan originators joined the platform – Evergreen Capital and CubeFunder. Additionally, Chain Finance provided loans for two companies in Lithuania. Debitum team expects that more business loans will be provided in November.
In October, Debitum investors invested 1,695,914 EUR in assets on the platform. That is, again, the highest amount since last February. Compared to September, that is a 38.5% increase in funds invested in the assets. Moreover, Debitum has reached a new milestone – more than 20 million EUR were invested on the platform since its start! The increase of deposits and loans provided on the platform helped the investment figures to jump up. Although there were fewer factoring loans on the platform, Debitum investors chose longer-term investments for a higher interest rate. Additionally, new loan originators were well-received by our investors. For instance, Evergreen Capital assets were fully funded within a week from uploading them. Also, our biggest investors increased their exposure on the platform and invested in the new assets.
Most popular industries
In October, Debitum investors invested in assets from 13 industries. Most of the investments went to the construction, services, and production sectors. Most of the assets in the construction sector were invoice financing loans that have high turnover. Contrastingly, most of the assets in the service and production sectors were business loans with longer terms. Despite that, Debitum investors trust the loan originators which provide these loans and increase their investment in these companies.
Money invested using the auto-invest tool
In October, similar to the overall invested volume on the platform, Debitum experienced a significant increase of automatic investments. 687,053 EUR were invested using the auto-invest tool. That is a 40.51% of the total invested volume in October. Debitum investors are more willing to use the auto-invest tool as there are more and more different loans added on the platform. If an investor seeks to diversify his portfolio, the auto-invest tool is one of the essentials to begin with. As more assets will be uploaded on the platform, we expect to see a positive trend in November. Therefore, do not miss another good opportunity and create an auto-invest plan today. Then, enjoy compiling interest, which the tool will reinvest for you when the principal and interest are repaid.
