Debitum statistics: first quarter of 2021 (January and February)
Debitum is happy to share that it is constructively growing its portfolio and increasing number of users on the platform! The overall size of the outstanding portfolio has climbed over 4 million EUR and we have more than 6300 users on the platform! Therefore, continue reading further and see how we managed to achieve these milestones.
The number of registered users (activated)
In the beginning of January, Debitum had over 6000 users on the platform. During the month, 216 users have joined the platform and successfully started their journey with Debitum. Later, in February, additional 183 users have joined the platform. Compared to December, the user based has grown by 399 users or 6.20%. Debitum team is happy to see its community growing but the growth is not sufficient to achieve planned number of users by the end of the year – 10000 users. Therefore, invite you friends and let them try the platform by starting with a 25 EUR bonus! Moreover, Debitum is moving forward with a collaboration with marketing agency, specializing in the personalized approach of users via email. Additionally, Debitum users can expect various changes on the platform page which will make it easier to understand which services Debitum is offering.
As expected in December 2020, the beginning of 2021 has been very successful in terms of deposits. In January alone, Debitum investors deposited 468,997 EUR! Furthermore, despite strong performance in January, Debitum investors deposited 413,912 EUR in February alone. During these months, the overall deposit amount has increased by a surprising 882,909 EUR or 15%! The performance can be partially associated with the news regarding the licensing process. Debitum is constructively implementing necessary changes on the platform and investors are getting more confidence in working with the platform. Consequently, investors made fewer deposits in February than in January but the average deposit size jumped from 800 EUR in January to 1,150 EUR in February. This shows that Debitum investors are more willing to start with higher exposure than slowly increasing their exposure over time. Compared to last year’s February, Debitum has almost managed to triple the overall deposit amount on the platform. Therefore, if you are considering increasing your investment – it is a perfect time to do so!
In the beginning of 2021, Debitum team has been focusing on increasing investment on the platform. Based on the recently confirmed business plan, Debitum has a sufficient number of loan originators to reach the target portfolio. However, we understand our investors and their diversification preferences, therefore, we expect to have two more partners joining the platform. Before they join the platform, Debitum provided 1,782,005 EUR and 1,351,703 EUR worth of assets in January and February, respectively. As Debitum has moved away from uploading only short term assets, the overall volume of loans is pushed down because more funds are invested in longer term assets. This decreases the demand for new assets while keeping the facilitation rate of the uploaded assets quite high – over 71%. Additionally, a quick look at the lateness statistics shows that Debitum is successfully maintaining its portfolio quality during the last 6 months – only 25% of loans were closed during grace period and 7.3% were closed after being late for at least 15 days.
In the beginning of 2021, Debitum has been stable in terms of investments. As the amount of deposits is growing, the total amount of investments is parallel. Debitum investors invested 1,455,876 EUR and 1,298,261 EUR in January and February, respectively. This pushed the overall invested amount to 26,448,000 EUR. This is a 11.62% increase over December 2020 figure. Also, Debitum has slightly pushed the overall interest rate from 8.80% in December 2020 to 8.95% in February 2021. As there is more competition for investments among our partners, investors are taking advantage of higher interest rates for highest quality loans. Therefore, it is a great moment to consider investing on Debitum platform and earning higher interest!
Most popular industries
In February, Debitum investors invested in assets from 15 industries. Most of the investments went to the ITT, logistics, and trade sectors. Most of the assets in the logistics and trade sectors were invoice financing loans that have high turnover. Contrastingly, most of the assets in the ITT sector were business loans with longer terms. Despite that, Debitum investors trust the loan originators which provide these loans and increase their investment in these companies.
Money invested using the auto-invest tool
In February, similar to the overall invested volume on the platform, Debitum experienced an increase of automatic investments. 673,562 EUR were invested using the auto-invest tool. That is a 46.26% of the total invested volume in February. Debitum investors are more willing to use the auto-invest tool as there are more and more different loans added on the platform. If an investor seeks to diversify his portfolio, the auto-invest tool is one of the essentials to begin with. As more assets will be uploaded on the platform, we expect to see a positive trend in March. Therefore, do not miss another good opportunity and create an auto-invest plan today. Then, enjoy compiling interest, which the tool will reinvest for you when the principal and interest are repaid.
